ParaSite is exactly what it implies a small version of the lightOS Internet Guide control
 panel. With ParaSite you can access the main lightOS functions with one click of your
 mouse from anywhere you happen to be on the web.

 Close and open your browsers, type a letter, or use other programs such as a POP3
 email program all without losing your ParaSite MicroPortal connection. No software to
 download and you just discard the microportal when you log off your ISP.

 Although originally written for Netscape Navigator the ParaSite MicroPortal works with
 almost any java browser including Microsoft Internet Explorer and Opera.
  
 How Does It Work?
 You can only activate the ParaSite MicroPortal from the lightOS index or main pages. To
 activate the MicroPortal simply pass your mouse cursor over the ParaSite MicroPortal
 name under the Member Services section on the left hand side of the web page.
  
 The ParaSite MicroPortal menu screen will appear on the page. This menu will remain in
 an active state as long as you are browsing the web within the current ISP modem
 session. The lightOS ParaSite MicroPortal is the first copyrighted full feature
 microportal available on the web and it is provided free for our visitors to enjoy.
 
 Minimize - The ParaSite MicroPortal will automatically minimize itself to the bottom level
 of your browser on the screen function menu whenever you click anywhere on the screen.
 It is still active and you may click on the ParaSite button at anytime to maximize the
 menu back to full size.
 
 Opening Screens - Whenever you select from the ParaSite MicroPortal menu the
 specific function or related web page at lightOS is opened in a new window. You may
 browse or use the section as much as you want to then simply close the window with
 the upper right hand page close box and you will be returned directly to where you
 originally started. You never loose your place. Click anywhere on the screen and the
 ParaSite menu will minimize.
  
 Turning It Off - No problem here. Simply maximize the ParaSite MicroPortal menu
 if it is minimized on the screen function menu and click on the close box at the right
 hand corner of the MicroPortal menu. ParaSite is automatically disabled. You must
 return to the lightOS index or main page areas to reactivate the ParaSite MicroPortal.

 Sign-In - Takes you to the member affiliate sign-in page. You can also sign-in on other
 core pages within the lightOS Internet Guide site.
  
 Email - If you get your email at lightOS or want to sign-up for free email this icon takes
 you directly to the online email center. Read and answer your mail then return directly to
 the place on the web where you were last working. A great time saver.
  
 Chat - Access the lightOS free chat rooms to visit with friends from anywhere on the web.
  
 Guides - Access any of the lightOS online information guides and get the info you need.
  
 Posts - Search our member affiliate free links post or any of the 14 category posts.
 
 Directory - Direct searchable access to the open directory of over 500,000 source links.
 
 Resources - Review any of our partner sites and use their resources or purchase
 items at great discount prices. Enjoy new car quotes, 3D graphics, and lots of
 interesting products.
 
 News - Our VT/TV World News Post provides over 11,000 media sources including radio,
 television, live web cams, weather, sports, financial, and top columnists worldwide.
 
 Games - Access an extensive collection of games to play, cheat codes, and game news.
