Here at TrustAssure © our goal is to provide web users with access to ethical businesses and
the information on those businesses and web transactions that will enable those users to
make informed decisions. As a business you will find that more people will purchase your
products or use your services if they feel secure in the transaction.  Customer Relationship

 TrustAssure © provides member sites that have been reviewed and
approved with a logo seal to post on that site. Internet users may use this seal and it's hyperlink
to verify information on the company and assure themselves that the company or site is a reputable
and reliable entity. This seal also provides parents with the assurance that the member site is
suitable for their children to access and browse without undue worry over objectionable content.

There are two forms of membership in TrustAssure ©, Associate members and Professional
members. TrustAssure © provides a special certification page accessed through your member
TrustAssure © seal where web users can verify your membership status.

Associate Membership:   Certification page stipulating that your site has been reviewed  for privacy considerations, security procedures, and content  value.      Professional Membership:   Certification page with the above stipulations and a complete  online business report record accessable by online search  providing your site visitor or customer with a business review,  key contact personnel, and business status information.

  
Privacy

A TrustAssure © member must provide a detailed privacy statement which is prominently displayed
on the registered web site. This privacy statement must detail what information is gathered, why
the information is being gathered, who has access to this information, and the information's use.
  
Eligible Sites
  
All web sites are eligible provided they do not post any form of pornography, violent content, or
otherwise objectable or offensive content as deemed by the TrustAssure © review board. Pyramid
programs, chain programs, and other such sites are also reviewed for misleading claims, spam
marketing methods, and fraudulent advertising or marketing methodologies. MLM and other sites
may become members and are welcome provided their site structure and policies are sound.
   
Security 

A TrustAssure © member must take reasonable steps to ensure that the individually identifiable
information it collects online is secure from unauthorized access. This includes the use of 
encryption for sensitive personal, medical or financial data if possible. Members must require
third party agents or contractors who have access to individually identifiable information to keep
the information confidential and not use it for any other purpose than to carry out the services
they are performing for the organization, site, or business.

Members may not rent, sell, exchange, or in any manner transfer information about a customer
or visitor to any third party, unless the third party is an agent or contractor involved in carrying out
the transaction for which the customer's or visitor's information was submitted. 

Choice & Consent 

Members must allow individuals the opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit unrelated uses of
individually identifiable information about them, that is, uses not disclosed in the privacy policy at
the time the information is collected.

Children

Members must provide prominent and readily accessible notice of their privacy policies to both
parents and children. Members must obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or
disclosing children's information or allowing children to post or distribute information or allowing 
children to directly communicate with others
